Apache Trail Canyon is a nice short trip that is good to link up either headed in or out of the Superstitions. We went through late on a cold day in February so we were not too thrilled about getting wet without our suits. With that said, we were able to bypass the rappels in this canyon, and it became a game of staying dry with the pools fairly full. The canyon was very interesting and the color of the water that day along with all the moss made for a scenic trip. We encountered several cars that must have plunged over the canyon years ago along with a motorcycle frame. Once through it is a quick trek up to the road and back to the vehicle
